1st time visiting Taal and I wasn't disappointed, the restaurant is lovely and the service amazing, everyone was super helpful and friendly. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, I couldn't eat all mine so I've got the leftovers home to scoff tomorrow. Fantastic value for money too. Perfect place for a date night or dinner with friends, there is even a wee bar area where you could sit and have a cocktail. Can't wait to go back!!

I only ever ordered takeaway with delivery. I ordered from Taal Carluke several times now and food was always: a) delicious, b) delivered promptly and still piping hot, c) portions are quite big. Might be the best indian takeaway I’ve ever had.

Great atmosphere! We were there Friday evening. It was busy but not too busy. And the food was served in a timely manner. This brings me nicely on to our favourite dishes! The naan was the best I have ever had! We went pashwari and it didn't disappoint! We had the tasting menu; starter of poppadoms with some dips. The dips were different to your normal Indian... It was far nicer and full of flavour! We then had mixed pakora, various veg and chicken. The mushrooms were great! Would recommend. Won't break the bank and tastes really good! A great quantity of food too.

First visit - recommend by family. Choices on menu for every dietary need. Great explaination of every option on the menu - but would suggest a rating for the spice level of each dish. Portion size was large.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taal restaurant and I must say, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming and cozy, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and rustic comfort. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they were happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. We started with the mixed pakoda, which was a fantastic introduction to the meal. It was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for Punjabi Chicken, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned impeccably. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. Overall, Taal restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of the food, the excellent service, and the lovely atmosphere make it a top choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Authentic, lovely staff, great food, lots of choice for vegetarians, pleasant decor, amazing dessert options. Wonderful to have this right here in Carluke. We'll keep coming back for sure!
